Evening Nursing Staff Coordinator

Full Time | Bismarck, ND


40 hours per week

11:30am - 8:00pm - Hours may vary based on department need

Monday through Friday

No weekends or holidays

Duties
  • Complete daily assignments per protocol to assure coverage for nursing staff
  • Replace nursing staff as needed on a daily basis
  • Monitor nursing call-in lines, texts, and emails
  • Prepares a portion of the nursing department’s monthly schedule
  • Review and screen applicants for positions such as CNA, Mealtime Assistants, and Medication Assistants
  • Conduct interviews and complete selection process for potential candidates
  • Conduct department orientation of new nursing employees
  • Facilitates and prepares agenda and materials for nursing onboarding education
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Past experience as a CNA, Medication Assistant, or Nurse required
  • Higher education preferred
  • Scheduling experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with Kronos, Microsoft Office Word, and Point Click Care software programs preferred
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to speak in front of groups & facilitate discussion
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member and to make independent judgement
